JULIANNE AURORA MANALO, known as "Jules Aurora" is a Filipino-American Singer, Songwriter, Actress, and Model. 

 

She is best known for her heartfelt original music, her viral singing videos, as well as her appearances as “Indio” on CBS’ “The Young and The Restless”, and performances for the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB. Her presence as a triple threat in the industry is what makes her a truly unique artist and performer. 

 

Born in New Jersey and raised in San Diego, Aurora had a natural love for performing and grew up surrounded by music; earning leading roles in a number of musical theatre productions. In addition to her artistic endeavors, Aurora graduated from San Diego State University and earned a bachelor's degree in communication. 

 

In 2015, she was given the opportunity to perform and travel abroad as a Featured Singer for Royal Caribbean Productions. She spent 8 months starring as the leading lady in two full-length production shows for the company.

 

In 2016, Aurora launched her social media presence by posting weekly covers on Instagram and YouTube. Since then, she has gained millions of views and thousands of followers across all platforms.

 

Her first major steps as a recording artist were made in 2018, when she released two singles "He Loves Me (Not)" and "Back to Us" as well as her debut EP titled "The Silver Lining". In 2019, She followed up with a second R&B EP titled “Worth It”.  Her single, "Anything For You" was highlighted for Asian American Pacific Heritage Month and released in partnership with Amazon Music. Her latest release, "Golden" serves as an anthem for women encouraging them to embrace their true selves and stand in their power. The song was also a top feature on the "New Music Philippines" playlist on Spotify. 

 

Aurora starred in East West Players’ production of “Mamma Mia," in 2019, and later that year landed her first recurring guest star role as “Indio” on the nation’s longest running soap opera, “The Young and The Restless” on CBS.  Most recently, she made waves as the leading actress in a commercial spot for Kay Jewelers, which aired across the country and during the Super Bowl.

In the modeling world, Aurora has been the face of a number of national campaigns for brands such as Disney, The Dry Bar, Lexus, Sexy Hair, UFC Gym, and many more. Her work was even featured on billboards in the iconic Times Square, New York City. 

 

Aurora is no stranger to the stage, as she has opened for Grammy Award winning artist Macklemore, headlined concerts with Apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas, and performed for the LA Lakers & LA Clippers at the Staples Center, the Los Angeles Chargers at Sofi Stadium, the San Francisco 49ers at Levis Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Dodger Stadium, and the US Women’s National Soccer Team at the Rose Bowl Stadium. 

 

Based in Los Angeles, Aurora continues to evolve as a triple threat artist and the future has never looked brighter.
