BIOGRAPHY

JULIANNE AURORA MANALO,

Julianne Aurora Manalo, known professionally as Jules Aurora, is a Filipino-American singer, songwriter, actress, and model.

She is widely recognized for her emotionally resonant original music, viral singing videos, and her role as Indio on CBS’s The Young and the Restless. She has also performed on national stages for the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB, solidifying her status as a true triple threat in the entertainment industry.

Born in New Jersey and raised in San Diego, Aurora’s love for performance began early, landing lead roles in musical theatre productions while growing up in a music-filled home. She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from San Diego State University, blending artistry with intellect.

In 2015, she was cast as a Featured Singer for Royal Caribbean Productions, performing as the leading lady in two full-length stage shows across the globe during an 8-month international tour.

Her digital journey began in 2016 with weekly music covers on Instagram and YouTube—videos that soon went viral, garnering millions of views and a dedicated fanbase across all platforms.

Aurora made her recording debut in 2018 with the singles “He Loves Me (Not)” and “Back to Us”, followed by her EP The Silver Lining. She continued to shine in 2019 with her sophomore R&B EP Worth It, and later released the heartfelt single “Anything For You” in partnership with Amazon Music for Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Her empowering anthem “Golden”, which encourages women to embrace their inner strength, was spotlighted on Spotify’s “New Music Philippines” playlist.

On stage, Aurora starred in East West Players’ production of Mamma Mia! and soon after booked her first recurring TV role on The Young and the Restless. Her on-screen presence expanded further in 2023 as the leading actress in a national Kay Jewelers commercial, which aired during the Super Bowl. She has also starred in commercials for Apple (featured at WWDC 2025) and several other top brands.

As a model, Aurora has fronted campaigns for Disney, The Dry Bar, Lexus, Sexy Hair, UFC Gym, and more. Her work has even graced the billboards of Times Square in New York City.

No stranger to live performance, she has opened for Grammy Award-winner Macklemore, headlined concerts with Apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas, and sung the national anthem for major sports teams at venues including SoFi Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, Dodger Stadium, and the Rose Bowl.

Now based in Los Angeles, Jules Aurora continues to evolve as an artist with passion, purpose, and unstoppable momentum—the future has never looked brighter.
